Ostendorf (Okawville, Illinois), born in Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on October 24, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Ostendorf and Emma Ostendorf; his wife Janice Powers; and his brothers-in-law, Norbert Bening and Lynnie Powers.
He is survived by: his daughters, Denise Thompson (Tony) of Okawville, IL and Sara Lebert (Douglas) of Mascoutah, IL; his grandchildren, Alex, Alyssa, Tyson Thompson, Braden, Olivia and Nolan Lebert; his sister LaVerne Bening of Okawville; and his brother-in-law Jon Powers (Shawn) of Sparta.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Zion United Church of Christ Building fund and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
