Bernice Harre Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice Harre of Okawville, Illinois, born in Hoyleton, Illinois, who passed away on January 24, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustav Neuhaus and Anna Harre Neuhaus; her siblings, Melvin Neuhaus (Dorothy), Nelson Neuhaus (Ruth), Alvira Frese (Royden) and Selma Francis (Dwight); her son-in-law Gerald Hardin; and her brother-in-law Victor Harre (Norma).
She is survived by: her husband Alfred William Harre, Jr.; her daughters, Shirley Hardin of Belleville and Sharon Mewes (Ron) of Nashville; her grandchildren, Alexis Hardin (Raymond Schultz), Nathan Mewes (Leslie) and Jason Mewes (Daniela); and her great grandchildren, Ashtyn, Porter, Beckett, Brexley and Bronsyn Mewes.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville or Washington County Hospital Extended Care.
