Meier of Okawville, Illinois, born in Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on March 25, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis and Caroline Meier Jr.; his siblings, Robert Meier Sr. and Carol Lou Meier; and his parents-in-law, Paul and Loraine Tepe.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Meier of Okawville; his children, Chris Meier (April) of Okawville, Jonathan Meier (Shannon) of Okawville, Shawn Meier (Gina) of Okawville and Alicia Meier of Ukiah, CA; his grandchildren, Kirsten Barth (Brad) of Aviston, IL, Keatyn Meier (Josh Diekemper) of Carlyle, IL, Kirklen Meier (Sara Kniepmann) of Okawville, Kaidyn Meier of Okawville, Payton of Okawville, Brooklyn of Okawville, Easton Meier of Okawville, Rudra of Ukiah, CA and Indra Knoles of Ukiah, CA; his great grandchildren, Maverick, Dawsen Barth, Knox and Coraleigh Diekemper; his sisters, Sandy Tomaszewski (Bob) of Richview, IL and Sharon Kolweier (Kenneth) of Addieville, IL; and his brother-in-law Gene Tepe (Nancy) of Okawville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends.
Due to Covid-19 health concerns, restrictions will be followed. Face coverings will be required, and social distancing measures will be implemented, with a limited number of visitors in the funeral home or church at any one time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation or to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
