Kate O'Malley Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kate O'Malley of Ohio, Illinois, who passed away on December 5, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Erik Niord and Irma Niord (Hasselblad). She is survived by: her husband Mike O'Malley; her children, Janel Blaine (Mike) of Appleton, WI, Margie Retzler (John) of Algonquin, IL, Lisa Schnepper (Sean) of Oconomowoc, WI and Steven O'Malley (Crystal) of Woodbury, MN; her grandchildren, Jason, Aaron Blaine, Meghan, Lucas Retzler, Ty, Anna, Thomas Schnepper, Willa and Vianne O'Malley; and her brothers, Leif Niord (Nilgun) of Sweden, Ulf Niord of Sweden and Jorgen Niord (Agneta) of Sweden. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Ohio Fire Department in Kate's memory.
