She was predeceased by: her husband Dave; her parents-in-law, Carl and Carol Sauter; and her grandparents, Carl, Gladys Christensen, Harold and Emma Bend.

She is survived by: her parents, David Bend and Carol Bend (Christensen); her son Michael Sauter (Hannah); her sister Lisa Fleming (Greg); her nephew Dane Fleming (Jessica); her niece Samantha Fleming; her great-nephew Stetson Fleming; her brother-in-law Jim Sauter; and her close friend Troy Siemers.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Illini DAR or Team Gleason ALS Foundation.
