He was predeceased by: his parent Rose Marzetta; and his brother James. He is survived by: his wife Karen Senica of Oglesby; his son Michael Szott, Jr. (Timothy Bresnahan) of Chicago; and his sister Jean Zolik of St. Paul, MN..
