She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Nelson and Grayce Nelson (Mann); and her sister Connie Terselic. She is survived by: her husband Wendell Cofoid; her children, Timothy Cofoid (Kathleen) of Ottawa and Laurie Rieuf (George) of Marseilles; her grandsons, Jacob Rieuf, Aidan Cofoid and Zachary Cofoid; and her sister Mary Kay Clark of Ottawa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
