He was predeceased by: his parents, John Housby and Gertrude Housby (Bernard); his spouse Shelby Jean Perkins; and his siblings, Margaret Ewing, Thelma Conrad, Gertrude Garncarz, Robert, John, Edward Housby, Jacqueline Boyd, Melva Dilling and Ella Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Carrico (Nick), Betsy Cisek, Brian Coan (Lisa), Mark Guyon, Jeremy Dunaway (Erika), Lori Newell (Joe), Donnie Coan (LuAnn) and John Smith; and his sisters, Nancy Bejster (Jerry), Hazel Conrad and Sandra "Cookie" Bland (Ken). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
