He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysious Lesniewski and Angelina Lesniewski (Lena); and his cousin James Scheri. He is survived by: his sister Lee Ann Messimer (Stephen) of Escanaba; his nieces, Elizabeth (Betsy) and Alexandra (Alix); his cousins, Mike Mazzucchelli of LaSalle, Ray Scheri (Sue) and Gene Scheri (Carol) of Spring Valley; and his close friends, Ken Caponi and Dan Gregorich.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Church (311 N Woodland Ave, Oglesby, IL 61348). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Oglesby Fire Department or Holy Family Church.
