He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hoover and Agnes Hoover (Andreski); his wife Helen Borovac; and his siblings, Robert, John Jr. and Audrey Hoover (Smith).
He is survived by: his children, John Pelszynski (Reanna) of La Salle and Judith Sipovic (Richard) of La Salle; his grandchildren, Alicia Schultz (Gene), David Pelszynski (Michelle), Richard Sipovic (Hannah), Amy Boyles (Thomas) and Chad Sipovic (Justeen); and his great grandchildren, Eric, Charles, Hazel, William, Emmy, Allison and Lucille.
