He was predeceased by: his sons, Francis and Emilio. He is survived by: his son Eric of LaSalle; his stepdaughter Rachel Jurkas (Kenny) of Peru; his daughters, Lisa Carrico (Nick) of Oglesby and Betsy Cisek of Peru; and his siblings, Mark Balzarini (Cathy) of Naperville, Alan Balzarini of Sierra Vista, AZ, Doreen Balzarini of Oglesby and Jeannette Gallagher (John) of Naperville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Oglesby Boy Scouts of America or the Oglesby Knights of Columbus.
