He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Morrison and Josephine Morrison (Orzechowski); his brothers, Lyle R. "Buddy" Morrison and Joseph Morrison; his niece Stacey Morrison; and his father-in-law William Prey.
He is survived by: his wife Fran of Oglesby; his daughters, Vanessa Morrison of Franklin Park and Alissa Morrison of Oglesby; his brothers, Douglas Morrison (JoAnn) of Georgia and Robert Morrison (Linda) of Illinois; his siblings-in-law, William Prey (Nancy) of California, Nancy Semenak (James) of South Carolina and Sandy Morrison of Georgia; and his mother-in-law Rose Ann Prey of Oglesby. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Oglesby American Legion Post 237, the Dickinson House Foundation, Oglesby, and Holy Family School, Oglesby.
