He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Gammons and Lola Gammons (Hayes); and his son Clarence Warren "Shorty" Gammons. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline; his children, Connie (Wilber), Jim Merrifield of Cedar Point and Larry Merrifield of Spring Valley; and his brother James Gammons of Little Rock, AR.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
