She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Schmidt and Gladys Schmidt (Cunningham). She is survived by: her husband Ron of Oglesby; her sons, Jeffrey Eichelkraut of West Fargo, ND, Brad Eichelkraut (Patty) of Oglesby and Daniel Eichelkraut (Andrea) of Oglesby; her siblings, Carl Schmidt (Sue) of Streator, Gail Orozco of Ottawa, Laurie Colby (Steve) of Port Orchard, WA and Krissy Schmidt of Granville; and her grandchildren, Rylin and Remi. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
