He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Polizzi and Pietrina Polizzi (Mertoli); his wife Irene; and his siblings, Josephine Smith, Carmelina Mis, Mary Rodda and Peter Polizzi.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Polizzi (Lisa) of Peoria, Rick Polizzi of Bartlett, IL and Paula Polizzi Haxby (Dave) of Island Lake, IL; his siblings, Joseph Pollizzi (Jane), Isabelle Furar (Ron) and Jim Polizzi (Diane); and his grandchildren, Johnathan, Petrina, Michael, Nino, Dominic Polizzi and Joseph Haxby. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
