With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Lawrence Johnston (OFallon, Illinois), born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on April 18, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Bonita V. Johnston; his daughter Gina K. Bailor; his son-in-law Jerry A. Johnston; his parents, Fred Johnston and Flora Johnston; his granddaughter Stephanie Gotto; and his brother James Johnston.
He is survived by: his children, Judith A. Johnston of Trenton, IL and Gerald W. Johnston (Marilyn S.) of Oakville, MO; his grandchildren, Matthew (Beth), Melanie, Joseph, Jeffrey and Elizabeth Kraatz (Michael); and his sister-in-law Phyllis Johnston. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and nieces.
