Vernon Monken Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 11, 2019, at the age of 96, Vernon Monken (OFallon, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Elton Monken (Genivee); and his brother-in-law Adam Landry. He is survived by: his children, Douglas Distler (Nancy) of O'Fallon and Cindy Drury (Michael) of O'Fallon; his sister Marilyn Landry of O'Fallon; his grandchildren, Scott Distler of Orlando, Steven Distler (Linda) of Glenview, Lyndsy Kaminski (Thomas) of O'Fallon, Alex Drury (Ashley) of Arnold and Paul Drury (Elizabeth) of Swansea, Ill.; and his great grandchildren, Jack, Lauren, Taylor, Xander, Logan and Hailey.
Memorial donations are suggested to O'Fallon First United Methodist Church, O'Fallon Food Pantry, or to VFW Post 805.
