It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Edward Rickey (OFallon, Illinois), born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on February 5, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Taylor and Viola Irene Rickey. He is survived by: his wife Betty Rickey of Swansea, IL; his children, Brian Rickey of Fairview Heights, IL, Robert Hall of Fairview Heights, IL, Julie Cook (Terry) of O'Fallon, IL, Vickie Laur of Ozark, MO and Maryanna Satter of Pyatt, AR; and his siblings, Steve Rickey (Sandy) of Westview, MO and Carol Smerek (Steve) of Jackson, MI. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
