She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Tripp and Betty M. Tripp; her children, Kristine Gibbons and Michael Hangsleben; and her former husband Norman Hangsleben.
She is survived by: her son Jeffery Hangsleben of O'Fallon, IL; her siblings, Beverly, Fred Tripp (Frieda), Bobby Tripp (Theresa), Roger Tripp (Terri), Lynn Laughlin (Paul), Robin Batson (Lyle) and David Zitzman (Sharon); her grandchildren, Jamie Gibbons (Matthew Penn), Stephanie Williams (Finis), Trent Gibbons and Nathan Hangsleben; and her great grandchildren, Jade Williams and Jim Wellen.
