He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Wunder and Irene Brooks; his brother Lavern Wunder; and his siblings-in-law, Kathleen Stites and Vernon Raveling.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Wunder; his children, Julia Brennan (Mike), Gregory Wunder (Kenda), Ellen Wunder (Mark Garrett) and Daniel Wunder (Elizabeth); his sister Betty Raveling; his grandchildren, Michael Brennan (Yazmin), Daniel Wunder (Raghd Alyatim), Jacob Wunder (Colette), Keely Wunder and Nicholas Wunder; his great grandchildren, Adilene Brennan, Helen Brennan and Elijah Brennan; and his brother-in-law Darrel Stites.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Schildknecht Funeral Home (301 S Lincoln Ave, O'Fallon, IL 62269).
