He is survived by: his wife Darline Heeren Burgdorf of O'Fallon, IL; his children, Dianne Hayes of Iowa City, IA and Steven Heeren (Denise) of Moore, SC; his sister Verna Colyer of Farmington, IA; his sisters-in-law, Rhoda Burgdorf of Illinois and Marie Burgdorf of O'Fallon, IL; his granddaughters, Elizabeth Hayes and Kathleen Rechenberger (Cheston); his great grandchild Camille Hayes; his pet Molly; and also Ron Knerrer.
