It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Donald Stokes of OFallon, Illinois, who passed away on October 18, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlet Stokes and Ella Stokes; his siblings, Louise Roustio (Lee), Carol Stokes and Arvella Gendron (Terry); and his brother-in-law Bob McCollum.
He is survived by: his wife Robin Grotsky; his children, Jamie Stokes and Richard Stokes, Jr. (Rosa); his grandchildren, Angel, Ricky, Giovanni and Daniel; his siblings, James Harper (Rita), Sandy McCollum, Jerry Stokes (Joann), Yvonne "Bonnie" Wagner (Bob) and Dwight "Ikey" Stokes (Mary); and his sister-in-law Pauline Stokes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
