He was predeceased by: his father Ivan H. (Hattie); his daughter Stephanie Ping; his siblings, Ivan Ping, Betty Ping, Ann Touchette, Richard Ping and Elsie Aron; his stepsons, Brian Mowe and Rick Mowe; and his stepgrandson Robbie Mowe.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Ping of O'Fallon; his children, Susan Yates (Jeff) of Troy, Mark Ping of Troy and Ann Van Hoose (Lee) of Fairview Heights; his grandchildren, Kathleen Green (Timothy) of Wright City, Adam, Eric, Rachel Yates, Lily Presley-Ping, Aurora and Charlotte Van Hoose; and his stepgrandchildren, Michael Green (Susan), Heather Spaeth (Adam), Andrew Green, Richie Mowe and Renee Hale. He is also survived by 13 step-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Parkinson's Foundation, American Cancer Society, or charity of your choice.
