She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezra Nichols and Ruby Nichols; and her siblings, Velta Rice, Wayne and Darrell Nichols.
She is survived by: her husband Frank C. Avry; her children, Dennis Wilburn (Debbie) of Swansea, IL, Terry Wilburn (Nancy) and Julia Whitney (John); her stepdaughters, Christine Schmidt (John) of Belleville, IL and Sarah Juelfs (Rick); her grandchildren, Lindsey Brede (Steve), Katie Karr (Michael), Kyle Wilburn, Marjorie Wilburn, Kelly Wilburn, Danielle Wilburn, Tyler Whitney (Stacy) and Paige Farris (Charles); her stepgrandchildren, Grayson, Keller Schmidt and Avery; her great grandchildren, Carter, Laynee, Ashton, Bennett, Kadience, Corbin, Chloe, Zoey and Evelyn; and her sisters, Lorna Kaiser (Tom) of Belleville, IL, Carolyn Wolfson and Bonnie Pajda. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
