He was predeceased by: his son Lennie S. Sneed; and his parents, Sterling Sneed and Stella Sneed. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Sneed; and his children, Shrohnda Leopard of Alton, IL, Ron Sneed (Kelly) of Fairview Heights, IL, Susan Drabing (Daniel) of Troy, IL, Edward Dryden (Sara) of Collinsville, IL, Marcy Oliver (Jason) of St. Jacob, IL, William Dryden (Amy) of Greenville, IL and Cindy Bobby (Brian) of Belleville, IL. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; many friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Richeson Funeral Home (205 Edwardsville Rd, Troy, IL 62294). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
