With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathryn Pilger of OFallon, Illinois, who passed away on March 13, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Merkel, and Flossie Merkel, Sr. (Wilkerson); her husband Norman Pilger; and her brother Gilbert Merkel, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Michael "Lynn" Pilger (Nancy) of Troy and Mark Pilger (Barbara) of Indiana; and her granddaughters, Michelle Le Hill (Nathaniel) of North Carolina, Jennifer K. Wolfe (Aaron) of Collinsville, IL and Melissa Ann Cardenas (Marcos) of Grantfork, IL. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
