Joan Elizabeth Lehrter Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Elizabeth Lehrter of OFallon, Illinois, who passed away on March 19, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alphonse Holtgrave and Clara Holtgrave; her husband George Henry Lehrter; her daughter-in-law Lindy Lehrter; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Holtgrave, Peggy Holtgrave and Dan Jansen.

She is survived by: her children, Dale Lehrter, George "Doug" Lehrter, Dawn Happel (Keith) and Todd Lehrter (Liz); her grandchildren, Jessie Richardson (Bryan), Brooke Blassingame and Leah Blassingame; her great grandchildren, Harmony Richardson, Paige Yates and Anthony Richardson; her siblings, Marilyn Fitzgerald, Robert Holtgrave, Vern Holtgrave (Elaine) and Lou Jansen; and her friend Frances Mueth.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Belleville Area Humane Society in honor of Joan Elizabeth Lehrter.
