He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Barton and Ruby Barton; his stepson Donald "Boo" Barton; and his stepgrandson Lucas Klingelhoefer. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his daughter Jayme Borkowski (Tim); his grandchildren, Bryce and Skyler; his stepchildren, Terry Barton of Shiloh, Dana Ramsey of Shiloh and Daryl Barton (Amanda) of Shiloh; his brother-in-law Barry Moore of Caseyville; his sister Helen Chambers; his stepgrandchildren, Sarah, Tara, Tyler, Chase, Aubrey, Dawn, Nicole, Collin and Savannah; and his pets, Star and Mickey. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
