He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Andrew and Margaret Elizabeth Cheatham; his son Anthony Yurkovich; and his sister Norma Cheatham. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Cheatham; his children, Cynthia Frost (David) of O'Fallon, IL and Tim Yurkovich (Aimee) of O'Fallon, IL; his grandchildren, Meaghan Krukemeier, Thomas Frost, Kaitlyn Yurkovich and Michael Yurkovich; and his great grandchildren, Camden Krukemeier and Andria Krukemeier.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schildknecht Funeral Home (301 S Lincoln Ave, O'Fallon, IL 62269). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Catholic Church (625 Saint Nicholas Dr, O'Fallon, IL 62269).
