It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Iris Soulé (OFallon, Illinois), who passed away at the age of 86, on May 30, 2020. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Emmett Carl and Florence Azile Altrogge; her former spouse Covert Aiken Soulé, Jr.; her husband Colonel Covert Soulé, Jr.; her children, Chip Soulé (Christina), Cathy Combs (Rick) and Carolyn Monson (Tim); her grandchildren, Caitlin Hasse (Luke), Kyle Combs, Callie Combs, Cass Soulé, Mary Kate Soulé, Grant Monson and Kevin Monson; her great grandchild Everett Hasse; her sister Phyllis Dean Altrogge Murphy of Lake Frederick; and her siblings-in-law, Nancy and Wayne Harvey of St. Francisville.
A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 111 O'Fallon-Troy Road, O'Fallon, IL 62269 or the MOAA Scholarship Fund, 201 North Washington Street, Alexandria, VA 22314.
