It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gregory Alan Koontz of OFallon, Illinois, born in Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on November 22, 2022, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon M.; his mother Marie K. (James-Harper); his nephew Matthew Kettler Timothy Goethe; and his niece Kirsten L Casteel Haley Ward. He is survived by: his mother Naomi Koontz; his great-niece Alyssa M. Koontz; and his siblings, Jeff M. James, Kevin Koontz (Joan), DeeAnn Koontz, Karen Casteel (Marc) and Laura Buchanan (Jim) of Crystal Lake, IL.. He is also survived by the many friends and family.
