He was predeceased by: his grandparents, George W., Josephine and Ronco; his brothers-in-law, Louis Kish and Cletus Frerking; and his half-brother Aaron Lee Ahring.
He is survived by: his spouse Rose Mary Ahring; his children, James C. Ahring of Belleville, IL and Jane M. Jung (Mark) of Belleville, IL; his granddaughter Jennifer Jung; his siblings-in-law, Florence Kish, Ruth Frerking and Leon Kempf; and also, Alberta Hoffman, Steve, Carolyn, Kathleen Sponza and Tommy Thacker.
