With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fred Schmitt (OFallon, Illinois), born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on August 16, 2021 at the age of 50. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia and Fred Schmitt, Jr.; and his grandparents, Elsie, Fred Schmitt, Sr., Madelyn and Charles Fahrenholz.
He is survived by: his wife V. Diane Schmitt; his children, Daniel of Goldsboro, N. C., Justin of Dayton, Nev and Ashlyn of Lehigh Acres, Fla; his stepdaughter Melissa Wainwright (Jeremy Sadler); his sisters, Stacy and Marie Schmitt of Lehigh Acres, Fla.; and his close friend Terry Jenkins.
