He was predeceased by: his parents, William Raney and Mildred Raney; and his son Joshua Raney. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Raney; his children, Brenda Hooper (Bobby) of Milton, FL, Mae Lynn Raney of Milton, FL, Chris Knibb of DePeres, MO and Aaron Knibb of O'Fallon, IL; and his sister Norma Emling of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
