She was predeceased by: her daughter Linda Hansen. She is survived by: her husband Leo A. Thierry; her sons, Richard Thierry (Debra Kionka) of O'Fallon, Ill and Joseph Thierry (Sharon) of O'Fallon; her grandchildren, Nathan Hansen, Alexander, Samantha Thierry, Kristen Smart, Allisan Stephens (Dennis), Tim Quinn and Carrie Winn; her great grandchildren, Riley Hansen and Leonardo Impellizzeri; her brothers, Lester and Vernon Mueller; and her sister-in-law Evelyn Vasalinda. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to Missouri Botanical Garden , one of Dorothy's favorite places.
