He is survived by: his wife Linda Spradling of O'Fallon, IL; his children, Donald J. Spradling, Jr. of Fairview Heights, IL and Beth Ortega (Jeff) of O'Fallon, IL; his brother John Spradling (Cecelia) of Red Bud, IL; his grandchildren, Justin Ortega, Jackson Pikula (Quinn Tompkins), Jacob Ortega and Santi Ortega; his aunt Florence Apple; and his close friend Ken Fricke.
