He was predeceased by: his siblings, Melvin, Carolyn and Donna. He is survived by: his children, Lail Roma, Christine Rene and Dale Francis Sauer II (Sutton) of Shiloh; his grandchildren, Kendra, Knaggs, Levi Manning, Erin Kilroy, Joshua Heuiser, Meredith, Jackson, Zachary Dale Sauer and Jacob Sauer; and his great grandchildren, Oliver, Harrison Manning, Colby and Jaxson Heuiser.

Memorial donations are suggested in the form of Masses.
