He was predeceased by: his father John Joseph Truax; his brother David Truax; and his nephew Mathew Truax. He is survived by: his mother Delores Jean Truax; his children, Ben Truax (Kelley) of Mascoutah, IL and Katie Truax of Glendale, AZ; his siblings, Deanne Allen of O'Fallon, IL and Darrel Truax (Tisha) of O'Fallon, IL; his grandchildren, Makayla Truax and Caylee Truax; and his close friend Laura Rhein of Belleville, IL.
