He is survived by: his wife Sally Scherer of O'Fallon, IL; his children, Alicia Grissom of O'Fallon, IL and Tommy Scherer of O'Fallon, IL; his sister Pati Kinsey (Clete) of Peoria, IL; his grandchildren, Aubrey Kelley, Morgan Vesci and Charlie Grissom; and his great grandchild Destiny Montgomery. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
