It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Benton of OFallon, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on January 11, 2021, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William A. Benton; her son William R. Benton; her parents, Frank Becherer and Anna Marie Becherer; and her sisters, Frances, Marcella and Genevieve.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Eleanor Benton; her grandchildren, Matthew Benton and Lora O'Keeffe (Brian); and her great grandchildren, Ethan, Aaron and Ian O'Keeffe. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
