He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jessup and Gladys Jessup; and his siblings, Rev. John L. Jessup and Lenola Rose. He is survived by: his sons, Joel A. Jessup (Shelley) of O'Fallon and John V. Jessup II of Washington, DC; his former wife Kim Kielbasa; his grandchildren, Joel Jessup, Jr., Anne Jessup, James Wyatt and Jordan Green; his siblings, Theodore Jessup (Delois) of Durham, NC and Shari L. Spencer (Tyrone) of Bluefield, VA; and his sister-in-law Mildred A. Jessup of South Hill, VA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, "adopted" children and friends.
