He is survived by: his wife Tina Smith (Timmons); his children, Megan Perun (Justin), Travis Smith and Justin Smith; his grandchildren, Carter and Emma; his parents-in-law, Terry and Roger Berning; his brother Butch Smith (Sherri); his stepsister Linda Johnson; his nephew Andrew Smith (Jessie); his nieces, Morgan Nierenhausen (Kyle) and Erica Kirkpatrick; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Taylor, Alaina, Kennedy, Clain, Jace and Liam; and also Chris McKenry.
