It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruby Dell Hamm of Odin, Illinois, born in Jefferson City, Missouri, who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Mason and Mildred Amelia Plain (Herring); her husband Eugene Harley "Gene" Hamm; her children, Gary Henson, Darlene Bandy and Teresa Reynolds; and her sons-in-law, Roger Aukamp and Dickie Peoples.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Malone of Decatur, Gloria Russell (Jeff) of Decatur, Bonnie Aukamp of Oreana, Pam Peoples of Centralia, Margaret Mattmiller (Charles) of Central City, Illinois and Mark Henson (Lori) of Waltonville. She is also survived by twenty eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Hamm's honor to the Odin Healthcare Center's Activities Fund in Odin, Illinois and will be received at the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home at 134 South Elm Street in Centralia, Illinois.
