William Martin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 20, 2020, at the age of 90, William Martin of Odell, Illinois, born in Pontiac, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Frederick and Ellen "Nellie" Martin (Condon); his son Mark W. Martin (Patricia Martin); his sister Ruth Mobus; his granddaughter Regina Martin; and his wife Pat.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Martin (Ann) of Stamford, Sheila Riccolo (Thomas) of Morris, Mary O'Connor (Terrence) of Morris and Bill Martin (Meghan) of Morris; and his grandchildren, Caroline Riccolo, Peter Riccolo, Sean Martin, Brendan Martin, Caitlin O'Connor (Ben Wollam), Eileen Berner (Cameron) and Erin O'Connor (Matt Wiehl). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends for a COVID observant and walk through visitation on Monday morning December 28, 2020 between the hours of 9:00 a. m. and 11:00 a. m. at Reeves Funeral Home, 408 East Washington Street (one block east of Illinois Route 47) in Morris. Due to current pandemic guidelines, face masks will be required for attendees and measures of safe social distancing practices will be in order.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Bill's memory to Immaculate Conception School or Immaculate Conception Church.
