He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Hoegger and Jewel Hoegger (Lewis); his sons, Gary Hoegger and Ronald Hoegger; his brothers, Earl Hoegger and Leo Hoegger; and his son-in-law Nate Severson.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Verdun; his children, Jim Hoegger (Angie) of Odell, IL, Deb Hoegger of Pontiac, IL, Joni Masching (Kevin) of Odell, IL and Sheila Severson (Jeff Stevenson) of Emington, IL; his daughter-in-law Lori Hoegger of Cabery, IL; and his grandchildren, Kyle Masching (Brittany), Lindsey Watters (Clay), Hailey Maubach (Matt), Nick Hoegger, Jacob Hoegger (Kaitlin), Scott Severson (Ali), Garett Severson, Ashley Smith (Will), Kristen Hinz (Adam) and Brooke Simmons (Zach). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
