She was predeceased by: her husband Paul; and her son Paul J. Schook, Jr.. She is survived by: her siblings, Susumo Shirasu (Mariko), Takashi Shirasu and Midori Shirasu; her daughter Barbara S. Karlenzig (Kurt) of Chicago, IL; her grandchildren, Mika Karlenzig of Chicago, IL and Max Karlenzig of Chicago, IL; and her sister Aunt.
