He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hogan and Dorothy Overocker Hogan; his brother Pat Hogan; and his sister-in-law Beth Hogan. He is survived by: his children, Nathon Hogan, Joseph Hogan and Onyx Charron; his granddaughter Lorelai Hogan; his siblings, Bob Hogan (Toni), Mick Hogan (Kathy), Mary Berry (Dana), Bill Hogan, Tom Hogan, Kathy Feltenz (Roger), Tim Hogan and Shari Bremer (Dave); and his girlfriend Diane Masching. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
