He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Verdun and Irene Verdun (Coleman); his wife Enis N. Dinelli; and his sisters, Ruth Ellen Verdun and Mary Jean Rennick.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Legner (Frank) of Odell, IL, Peter Verdun (Mary) of Byron, IL and Brian Verdun (Stacie Ehrat) of Odell, IL; and his grandchildren, Valerie Johnson (Mark), Frankie Legner (Jessica), Katie Hadsall (Jake), Dr. Valerie Verdun, Mary Elizabeth Verdun, Rick Verdun (Cherise), Nathan Worby, Bryan Worby and Noah Worby. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be made to St. Paul Catholic Grade School or St. Paul Catholic Church at 200 S. West Street, Odell, IL 60460.
