It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Snyder of Odell, Illinois, born in Streator, Illinois, who passed away on April 3, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Snyder and Lucille M. Snyder (Johnson); and his great grandchild Hope Nicole Sancken. He is survived by: his wife Viola Snyder; his sons, Carl Snyder (Sherri) of Odell, IL, Gordon Snyder (Cindy) of Odell, IL, Ron Snyder (Debbie) of Odell, IL and Dennis Snyder (Connie) of Pontiac, IL; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Malstaff (Alex), Abby Kasperbauer (Jake), Nicole Sancken (Trevor), Ashleigh Schneider (Michael), Andrew Snyder (Cory), Jessica Lovell, Tiffany Cromp (Kaylee), Brittany Snyder (Tony Aukett), Matthew Snyder, Brian Fearman (Lindsay) and Emily Bell (Joey). He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, three sisters, two brothers-in-law, and one sister-in-law.
