We are sad to announce that on March 29, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Joe E. Bliss of Oblong, Illinois, born in Robinson, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Bliss and Mildred Bliss (Lackey); and his sisters, Beverley Goff and Judy Gullett. He is survived by: his wife Evie; his daughter Michelle; his son-in-law Johnny Neeley; his grandsons, Sheldon Neeley and Keaton (Dani Neeley); his great grandchildren, Ren, Zayden, Kase, Grayson and Fayelynn Neeley; his brother Marion; his siblings-in-law, Marsha Bliss, Carol, Bill Gosnell and Wendell Newcomb; and his close friend Robbie (Theresa Nethery). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the "Crawford County 4-H Foundation" or the "Oblong First Christian Church", with envelopes available at the church.
